How To Connect Social Media Links On Squarespace

Social media links are crucial elements of your website design. They provide you with the ability to easily connect and communicate with your followers. But if you are having trouble integrating your social media links to your Squarespace website, sit back and relax!

I’ve got you covered. In this simple guide, you’ll learn step by step how to connect your social networks like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and other social platforms to your Squarespace website.

You will need to add the social media block to your footer so they show up on all pages. You can also opt to have them up on the navigation menu if you like.

Method 1 : Adding Social Links:

Once you have logged into your Squarespace in the left sidebar click Settings  > click Social Links   >  Scroll down to the Add a social link or email field > Paste the URL of the account you want to link or your email address (For example for Facebook copy and paste the full URL of your Facebook profile like https:// www.facebook.com) > Press ENTER on your keyboard.

Once you have completed this step an icon of the linked account would be added to your Home Page.

Repeat this step each time you want to add a new account.

Method 1 not working for you? There is an alternative approach to link your Social Accounts with your Squarespace website.

Method 2: Adding Social Icons

After logging in to your Squarespace, in the left sidebar click Settings  >  click Connected Accounts (Here you’ll see all your connected accounts to your website) >  Click Connect Account to add a new account > Select the Account you want to link and fill in the Login Details.

Once you have selected the account and filled in the login details, Squarespace will automatically link it.

On the off chance if Method 1 and 2 don’t work, check if the login details you are providing are all correct and repeat again.
