Stem robotics

SoftBank is committed to working with educators and corporate partners to deliver social change through robotics. Our programs including RoboCup, Women in Robotics and ASK NAO (Autism Solution for Kids) and seek to educate and encourage people to embrace a future with robots. We strive to assist and support organizations, teachers and businesses with grassroots initiatives that take robots out of labs and into the real world. Stem and robotics The Illiana Robotics team is designed to prepare students for competition in interscholastic Robotics tournaments. Tournaments motivate participants in science and technology to expand their skills. Additionally, these competitions assist in the development of skills that are utilized in critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students are allowed to make use of their various skills such as creativity, imagination, curiosity, and innovation as they design and create their robots.

Educational robotics has emerged as a field which involves students, coding, designing, developing and operating robots, thereby facilitating the development of their understanding and application of various subjects. The rigor and complexity of this approach vary from elementary to graduate programs. Robotics is also used to facilitate teaching and instruction to make learning fun and generate interest of students in STEM courses.
